March was a much more successful month! I have now created the “trifecta dream team of swimming recovery”; in other words, how to keep an aging body moving!! I have my chiropractor, my massage therapist, and I have added an acupuncturist, who are helping to keep the muscles nimble and as free from pain as possible! YIPEE!! Well, it was another interesting month. “Interesting” doesn’t always mean “fantastic” and in this case, that is true. On February 5th, Katie’s dad Jeff was admitted to the hospital related to his cancer. He had lost FORTY POUNDS in just less than one month. Read more “February update”
The year did NOT start off well. I was diagnosed with Influenza A despite getting my flu shot! UGH. So, I didn’t start this adventure until January 12th. I tried to swim as much as I could for the last 20 days of the month and I made it to 14.9 miles for the month! Read more “January’s update”
Many people know that I (Tammy, Katie’s mom) had a pacemaker placed in 2014, and ALSO that I used to race triathlon.
